Fishermen

Fishing,
Sea to market,
Keeping our families fed,
Hard work to be done, and oh boy
The stink!

Have You Hugged A Tree Today?

I got a reality check one day,
While on my daily walk in the woods,
As I brisked past my favorite tree,
He started screaming at me,
"Hey you!
Yeah you!
Have you hugged a tree today?!"
In hesitant dismay,
I replied,
"Um ... well ...
n-no ...
not recently."
"Well maybe you should!
We spend our lives,
Filtering your pollutants,
Making it possible for you to breath,
Offering you shade,
Shelter,
Nourishment,
With the literal
Fruits of our labors.
All we ask in return,
Is a little respect,
and love."
Feeling a little ashamed,
And wanting to mend my ways,
I enthusiastically
Embraced this angry tree,
And told him,
"Thank you,
for offering me shade,
On my hot summer walks.
Thank you,
For sheltering the creatures
In these woods.
Thank you,
For the clean air I breath.
Thank you tree.
I love you."
Now,
Everyday on my walks,
I hug my favorite tree,
And maybe even,
An extra two or three.
Have you hugged a tree today?

I have titled this piece :
Love Thyself

Ponders who self is, head hurts.
I feel a blessing blowing in.
Upon the contents of this lesson.
I pull out words from  orchids.
Today a lovebird came my way!
To love her for loving me.
Forever I can wait for you.
I love everything, relating to you.
Making my each day a masterpiece.
Hair the color of Autumn leaves.
My hair curly as curly fries.
My eyes, as the morning after.
Eyes like the sky after storm.
Come to bed deep brown eyes.
My eyes are blue my dear.
I Love my Big Blue Eyes!
I like a lady with blue.
Windows to the soul you know.
I see this and then That!
I don't expect anymore, I desire.
I desire great expectation, that's all.
Look good in just open gown
Curves in all the right places.
Best hugger you will ever meet.
I kiss better than Valentino lol
Beautiful women make the world turn.
A dancing soul wrapped in flamenco.
Seeking duende in Sierra Nevada mountains.
She loses herself inside the guitar.
Métis power fiddles and epic Jigs!
Top jungle DJ round my town.
I can dance like nobody's business.
Water hydration exercise fitness stretch flexible.
My legs offer me great support.
I walk like an angry sausage.
Eat loads, watch TV and scratch.
Logically I grew up, watching Spock.
I love swearing at the television.
Genuine even when it's most unpopular.
Honest even when the truth hurts.
I never said I distrust anybody.
You can trust me with anything.
I like sexy talk the best.
My pencil always has its lead.
I like taking pictures, you dig?
My mask reveals my true self.
Truth is, I am exquisitely empty.
My emptiness is, unfortunately, permanently, un-fillable.
Should have been born a stranger!
Love to free-ride close to danger.
Rise to challenge when chips down.
Living life in danger always stranger.
My blood group and ethos B+.
I'm dying, in order to live.
I am dying just to live!
Need job my soul is dying.
My life is a sick challenge.
My demeanor is equivalent to ice.
I love my self destructive tendency.
My cries sound just like yours.
I'm not hurt, I am beyond.
I feel no pain... too numb.
We all hurt in our way.
We don't PLAY the same games!
I remember things others do not.
Willing to die to gain knowledge!
Writing poetry helps me to heal.
Creativity is regurgitated for your entertainment.
Colorful images on paper I produce.
Drawing pins have pinned me down.
I smell great, without a nose.
I love to take bubble baths.
Smoky tokey wastey pastey dizzy wizzy!
Makes smiles even when dooms imminent.
Smile like there is no tomorrow.
I'm always happy like a clown.
I am funny like a clown.
I am warm.. friendly...ON FIRE!
I feel like a burning sun.
I love to see my SUNSHINE!
I am happy..hee..hee...hee
All ways happy and completely mental!
I'm really sociable in solitary confinement.
I talk when nobody is listening.
Waka waka waka waka waka waka.
Curses won't work on me, jack!
I am immune from the curse.
Ridiculous because that's how I roll.
Living compassionately a life's journey today.
Never forgetting who I once was.
I'm a fantastic house wife! lol.
Creative, honorable, original, sensitive, endearing, natural.
Insightful, kind, loving, forgiving, funny, uplifting.
Quirky, quixotic, affectionate, honest, warmhearted, optimistic.
Comical, lovely, endearing, valuable, expressive, real.
Warm, helpful, likable, loving and poetic.
Respectful and irreverent in equal measure.
My humanity is my greatest asset.
I am a caring compassionate person.
So caring till the very end.
May long life pursue each moment.
Life is being only just myself.
I am a survivor of all.

Acorn

Since times immemorial,
the regal oak,
has been revered,
venerated,
by the Druids.
Ancient Romes,
Goddess Diana,
is adorned,
with a string of acorns.
Keeping an acorn,
on a windowsill,
has been protecting us,
from lightnings strike,
ever since,
Thor sheltered from a storm,
under an oak tree.
If you are a woman,
you might want to start,
carrying an acorn,
on your person,
to delay aging,
and stay young forever.
Young lovers,
unsure of their fate,
place two acorns,
in a bowl of water,
representing themselves,
and the object of their affection,
if the acorns,
drift toward each other,
congratulations,
you are sure to marry.
So strong,
is the power of superstition,
in the tiny acorn,
fruit of the oak.

Rotten

This world is rotten,
Rotten with lies,
Rotten,
To the point of collapse,
Disintegration,

Lies,
Stupidity,
Weakness,
Mediocrity,
A civilization without ideals.

I crave another world,
A world of deeper meaning,
Another order of reality,
An intenser,
More powerful,
Form of consciousness.

Is this magical world,
Just a poetic fiction,
A symbol of the world,
That ought to exist,
But didn't?

Ride The High

Ride the high,
When love's everyone you meet,
When the drums begin to beat,
When your dancing in bare feet,
When your naked in the heat.

Ride the high,
When your seeking out a thrill,
And a girl gives you a pill,
When your brain begins to chill,
And transcends your mental will.

Ride the high,
When you feel like life is grand,
And you enter Wonderland,
When your mouth feels filled with sand,
And things aren't going as planned.

Ride the high,
When there's no holding sniggers,
And visions start to linger,
When all around you's spiders,
And snakes replace your fingers.

Ride the high,
When you gain the inner sight,
When your radiating light,
When your spreading love so bright,
When everything is alright.

Must ride the high.

In These Moments

When I was a young girl,
I used to take daily hikes,
To the top of the mountain.
I would spend hours,
Laying amongst the wildflowers,
Watching the sky,
Imagining far off places,
That only existed,
Within these moments of thoughtfulness.
In these moments,
I was a harpy queen,
Soaring with the birds,
Traversing the clouds.
In these moments,
I was a mermaid,
Swimming with the beluga,
Exploring the watery abyss.
In these moments,
I was a centaur,
Running free with the mustangs,
Across the endless plains.
In these moments,
I was the real me,
Always hesitant to return,
To this worlds false reality.

Suicidal Tendencies

Tried to ignore the voices in my head,
Telling me I would be better off dead,
But I started to believe what they said,
Decided to wait 'til all were in bed.

Laid listening in the dark for snoring,
Images and thoughts in my head forming,
They'll find me bathed in blood in the morning,
This will show them for all their ignoring.

Tip toed to the bathroom so quietly,
Laid down naked in the tub piously,
I used daddy's razor none too gently,
Until I saw the blood flowing freely.

A funny thought came just as I blacked out,
This is going to stain mommy's white grout,
From oblivion there's a scream and shout,
Too late, there's no reversing this bail out.

Night Skies

Night
Skies
Inspire
Love and art.
Strokes of a paint brush,
Expose caressing collision,
On the intimate horizon, where dark skies meet Earth.

 Challenge #3 Participants:

Patrick B Vince, shefali arora, LeeLuu Lee , Ian H, Tonscher 01, DJ Crazy Train, Chris Smith, Angie Evergreen, Tony G., Chris Reaney, North Dugan Douglas, Jen O, Matthew Gardiner

Challenge #3 Results:

I was a little worried there for a while, that this challenge was not going to be very successful. Thank you for proving me wrong, and embracing this challenge. Compiling and editing these results was a little bit of a challenge in itself. Do to the quantity of quality lines that were entered. I hope I did an adequate job and you all enjoy this piece we have created together as much as I do.

I've titled this piece:
Death Becomes Us

Boy waiting on his bed for a story,
His father comes in to comfort his boy,
Boy asks his daddy, "Check under my bed."
Father agrees with a smile and looks,
In the dim light the father saw his boy,
Shaking he said, "Daddy who's on my bed."
Reaper then felt a wet dream cumming on!
Couldn't stop it from cumming and cumming.
What does Reaper consider a wet dream?
He'd heard it tasted just like candy cane,
Refreshing sweetness drowning out his pain,
He knew that it would numb him for a time,
So he jumped in a pool of acid rain.
He felt every drop land with a sizzle,
Who knew burning human smelled so sweetly,
He inhaled deeply his own aroma,
While acid rain stripped the flesh from his bones.
The smell was almost intoxicating,
It drew me closer to where he did lay,
A shell of a person that had once been,
A trophy for me to have and to love,
Silent lips of blue scream loudly at me,
I made love to your cold flesh that evening,
Not once did you say stop or go away,
I took my life, to be with you always,
In death we are companions once again,
I too a corpse by your side with a smile.
We made a vow, until death do us part,
A lifetime turned out to be just the start,
Instead of blood, your love pumps through my heart,
You pose and love me as if I were art,
In denial of my death from the start,
Ignoring that I am falling apart.
I'm famished, starving not enough to eat,
Emancipated, life slipping from me,
Food, something edible, something to eat.
You look delicious, makes my mouth water,
Salivating each time I look at you,
I can't differentiate, I need food.
With fork and a knife, I come after you,
Your screams fall on deaf ears, as I slice in,
All I hear is my stomach, can't resist,
Appeasing it's needs, I start with your flesh.
Covered with blood on the floor I do cry,
Cannibalized you without a good bye,
Sick and twisted in a cell I now stay,
All alone, but I get three meals each day.
I'd rather you eat me, than go hungry,
I gladly let you feast upon my flesh,
I wish to only offer you the best,
Without complaint, I lay on your table,
Please nourish your body, with my body,
Let me feel your teeth sink into my flesh,
I'll quietly let my life slip away,
Knowing we will be together one day,
In the awaiting afterlife abyss.
If only your death had come on swift wings,
Relief for our minds, all the hours we sat,
I, lost for words, you spoke of real things,
Should have took you home to die at our flat.
You asked, I did not see, God forgive me,
I took spare morphine just to numb my brain,
You taught me of love, death with dignity,
You hid all your pain, somehow you stayed sane.
You were a Spartan, in life as in death,
As sweet a mind as there could ever be,
Part of me died, as you took your last breath,
You cried only once, you did that for me.
Eight days more I sat, for your heart to stop,
I can't say that I kept my sanity.
When you are smiling, I begin to smile,
When you cry, tears also fall from my eyes,
When you are angry, I become enraged,
When you are hollow, it's because I died,
When you are dead, we'll be in synch again.
Can't do one more day of this lonely grind,
Everything I do brings you to my mind,
With this sharp blade, my death note I have signed.
Dreams lost, found in heaven, well kept treasures.
Bright lights blinding my sight as I wander,
Up a tunnel I do not recognize,
My mind a blank canvas, no memory,
Of what went before, or is still to come,
Is this what death is, no heaven or hell,
Just a blinding light, and then nothingness,
Birth to death, cycles of infinity.
The unknown vast infinity of death,
If life is a cycle, where's the next step,
Lost in the mazes between here and there,
Stop the suspense and just send me to Hell.
Where I will wander for eternity,
Through the volcanic pits of existence,
With nothing but my own thoughts to ponder,
A living nightmare without redemption,
To relive the sins of my past always.
Never able to correct or redeem,
The errors my mortal incarnation,
Committed against all these innocents.
To serve the under Lord, chained and shackled,
As penance for countless atrocities,
To perform death marches everlasting,
My essence damned in perpetuity.
The monster lands slowly in its abyss,
Sucking out the fragments and breath of life,
The devil leaves nothing at mercy's hand.
A soul that's damned, looking for redemption,
Even in death, suffering infliction,
After a life full of dereliction,
Suffering others with drug addiction,
I deserve eternal crucifixion.
Give no remorse or sorrowful pity,
For murderous implications, I must
Pay the price of eternal damnation,
And suffer the hell wrath of Death himself.
Removed my heart, replaced it with darkness,
A safe haven for my demented thoughts,
My wires aren't crossed right, I'm falling apart,
Slowly succumbed to the demon inside,
Relax, as the knife slips into the flesh,
Justify by calling it bloodletting,
Drink from the fountain, warm, red and salty,
Look at the mess, no conscious is talking,
Darkness within, can't wait to feed again.
Such a young heart, pounding hard, filled with fear,
Eyes wide, filled with visions of your own blood,
Greedily flooding your attackers mouth,
Death finds you at the mercy of my lips.
And yet your kiss is more than what I want,
Feeding your hunger, I give you my heart,
Nothing to stop you, you are free to feed,
I give myself up to you willingly,
Let me be your nourishment, your substance,
Together, inside your body, we live,
The shell of my body lies on the floor.
She has a devilish surprise inside.
This she can not hide from his deadly eye.
It is she that brings death to all that need.
Killing with her lustful deed that they please.
Tempting in all ways, but death resulting.
Your essence, now part of me forever,
A small satisfaction as life leaves you,
The way you smile with your whole body,
A memory I will hold to dearly,
Your sweetness was just to much to resist,
Even as I lick my lips, I miss you.
Still, a kiss from the missed was expected,
She could build him back with life giving lips,
She sustained his life from his conception,
A look... Touch from her... His resurrection!!!
She does not offer pity or mercy,
Turning blind to his pain and suffering,
As she walks away, she pulls out the blade,
That her sharp tongue speared deep into his heart,
Leaving a gaping open wound spewing.
No matter how the sun shines so brightly.
The cold shall always touch this broken heart.
No matter how clean this wound has healed.
The pain will remain festering within.
Festering heart makes an infected soul,
If not treated you'll become a monster,
A mutated, deformed version of you,
Hunted and put out of its misery.
But Death took it all in destructive force.
So a monster I have created now.
No more the man I once was, all is gone.
For love devastated what I had been.
For love took life far beyond boundaries.
Regretting his vulnerability,
Before he sees his final tear filled sight,
He takes the blade from his own dying heart,
And cuts her's out, they both die on this night.
If I can't have you, no one can, ever,
He leapt on her, exciting a struggle,
He's strengthened by his jealousy and rage,
His hands wrap around her neck like a snake,
Wanting her to feel the pain she caused him,
She makes one final effort, then goes limp.
Red mist recedes from his eyes, and he sees,
Oh Dear God, what have I done, not again,
He runs, disappearing into shadows,
Object of his obsession left lying,
In emotional regurgitation.
Shaking, breaking, in two, were the remnants,
Of a best friend I thought I'd never lose.
How can a life be extinguished so young?
There are so many things she left undone.
She was here today, but not here to stay.
A friend indeed, she will be missed always.
The train still rolls, but coming to a stop.
Real death, not quite, her body keeps breathing,
But dead in the ground, behind my current
reality, are her true pieces n'
parts, the small nuances which made her, her.
A death of the soul is still a true death.
Life can chip away a piece at a time,
Until there are no pieces left but Death.
Mister G. Reaper, with blood on his hands.
Decided to find some inspiration.
The digital age, had left him behind.
And, besides..the scythe caused perspiration.
With dollars in hand, he went to the store.
To browse through some exciting equipment.
His eyes lit brightly, he had found "THE ONE".
And toddled off, to await the shipment.
The model, tested, took his breath away.
As he pulled the little plug, from the mains.
He'd waited too long, for a night like this.
A mower, to annihilate, in LANES!!
The first night, anticipation was high.
He plugged the destroyer, into the wall.
Disaster, the victim just stepped aside.
From the living room and into the hall.
Mr. G knew that the game was over.
He'd reached the limit of the lead supplied.
One pushy salesman was the one at fault.
Crawling to a corner, collapsed, he cried.
The next day, fuming, a return was made.
Of an item, unfit for its purpose.
He demanded a refund, held out hand.
Was informed he had no proof of purchase.
He screamed like a baby, all the way home.
He'd gone as far as throwing out his scythe.
Instead, he studied kung-fu, gained a first.
Which, he admitted, made him feel alive.
Mr. G now lives in Massachusetts.
With a cat and a puppy called "Hand-Made"
The death of the ride, everyone must hide.
For the Reaper is here, just to be clear.
I just stole his scythe, so he must be pissed.
I see a man being chased in the rain,
By Death himself, closing in like a train,
Furious, being tricked out of his scythe,
This trickster will soon meet with a quick death.
The cosmic collision is upon us.
No need to weep, for the end is but sleep.
The end draws near, so sit back and just cheer!
The problems that unfold, just take a hold.
For the end is near, and all must adhere.
The end is nigh, and all must say goodbye.
The sky is falling! The sky is falling!
Cosmos coming to collide with our heads,
Looking around, who should I be holding,
All I see are bodies, everyone dead.
Death comes in many forms...tonight, its me.
Black, the lagoon of wicked temptation.
Stirs and festers deep, imagined, longing.
A miser of begotten innocence.
Twists fantasies; ends not entirely ITs.
Hymns of drowned and crying faint fairy-dust.
For this challenge, he admits he has died.
Violin screeching the echoes abyss,
Black sheer rock halls of torment and distress,
Shew forth infernal wisdom of glory,
Pain and scorch fire attempt at glory,
Often believed a fantasy of debt,
Screaming drums, the cries of the night's whisper,
Yet only your intent of regret yells.
Why scream on such a thing so beautiful?
Have you not experienced Fire's Joy?
Have you not met him, the eyes of bright red?
When you do, swear unto him the return,
Return of yourself confronting such Hate,
Only near death can sight begin the gore,
Just wait you haven't senses five just yet!
Death is a place, where the sun cannot shine.
Nor the darkness, which is groping for light.
Time is that cloaked one, calling last orders.
Nothing to gain, with nothing left to fight.
And the drift, witnessed by no living soul.
Begins, in earnest, for the journey home.
Where home is that place, where the star sits bright.
I call it dust; you may call it nowhere.
I call it eternity; you, the END.

Witch!

Witch!
A word that applies,
To both women and men.
Why then,
Does the word arouse visions,
Of women on broomsticks,
Stirring cauldrons,
Filled with henbane and toads,
Or offering homage to devils?
But the idea of a man,
With magical powers,
Conjures up pictures,
Of wizards,
And warlocks,
Like Merlin,
Or Gandalf.
Why this association of ideas?

Death Comes

Death
Comes
To all,
Like a storm,
There's no stopping it,
Many try to anticipate,
Even delay it for a time, but Death always come.

Mind Of A Poet

While most of humanity,
Are cutting out ruthlessly,
Whole areas of perception,
Impoverishing themselves mentally,
The poet retains the faculty,
To be delighted suddenly,
By the sheer reality,
Of the world 'out there',
The poet has the ability,
To concentrate on nothing,
And allow their mind,
To sink into a state of passivity,
Where the power of intellection,
Is suspended fully,
The poets imagination,
Craves to be released,
To take wings,
And escape the mere present moment,
Soaring away,
To other times and places,
If denied this holiday,
From everyday triviality,
The form of their creativity,
Will be resentment,
Burning increasingly,
Against the life that imprisons them.

Restless Sea Awaits!

Hoist the anchor!
Man the wheel!
Batten the hatches!
Tight the ropes!
Loose the cannons!
Unfurl the sails!
Tap the kegs!
Restless sea awaits!
(Mag 233 prompt)

Not Fantasy

Faerie of focused attention,
She helps aid in concentration,
To make her stay takes persuasion,
Concentration, concentration.

Morning Faerie is whispering,
Leave the dishes and the dusting,
No wrong in procrastinating,
Do some writing, do some writing.

The Faerie of revelation,
Call upon her for protection,
Against all fraud and deception,
Revelation, revelation.

Beware of the Poetic Pan,
Erotic impulses, not plan,
Overwhelming to any man,
Poetic Pan, Poetic Pan.

Bright Shadow, a good companion,
Fights street shadows with compassion,
Fights drugs, menacing violation,
With compassion, with compassion.

The Faerie of the soulful eyes,
Don't turn to him to soothe your prides,
With him, is where honesty lies,
In soulful eyes, in soulful eyes.

Primrose, a spring variation,
Waiting to pounce from her station,
To hearts, dreams, imagination,
Invitation, invitation.

Faeries are not a fantasy,
Must use your heart to Faerie see,
Connect to your reality,
Not fantasy, not fantasy.

Challenge #2 Results : Seeking Suitors

Challenge #2 participants : Angie Evergreen, Matthew Gardiner, Debbie Green Razey, James Casey, John Fugman, Summertime Fyne, Fanny Magnificat, Niamh Curran, Jean Billheimer, shefali arora, Patrick B Vince

Thank you to everyone that participated in Challenge #2 : In the form of a haiku, make me fall in love with you. You guys really embraced the inspiration in this challenge and posted some awesomely enthusiastic entries. Together we have created this amazing piece. If any entries were left out or over looked, I am truly sorry. I think you will be pleased with the results.

I have titled this piece :
Seeking Suitors

Make you love me, hmmmm?
Not super sure I can for...
Force-full love's not true.
I've never wanted
more than anything, ever,
to be gone from here.
Then flee for your life,
before I can shackle you
in my root cellar
.
Your cellar is dark,
and my fingers grope slowly
for that warming light.
Only light for you,
is the glowing in my eyes,
watching from shadows.

And I near the warmth
of the barbs, ripping through me
from the strangers eye.
Ripping through your clothes,
to get to the soft pink flesh,
taste you with my tongue.

An insect en-webbed,
I cannot struggle, for I
want to be devoured.
Thank you for the taste,
salty flesh, mouth watering,
still fresh on my lips.
Smooth, rich and luscious,
thick brown river of heaven,
chocolate divine.
Chocolate derived
from the first bean- laid by the
hand of God himself.
Hands of God have laid
no sweeter chocolate than this,
would you like a taste?

A taste of heaven,
the smell of wildflower,
my satisfaction.
Shared satisfaction
is what I am looking for,
join me in heaven.
My heart on my sleeve,
sweet kisses I cover you
until my last breath .
 Love is in the air,
I can smell it on the breeze,
cinnamon and spice.
Partake in my spice,
I float to you with the breeze,
inhale me deeply.

Ginger in my mouth,
my favorite spice of all,
red treats so divine.
Divine strawberry,
always spiced to perfection,
so mouth watering.

Let me caress you
gently with my mind and words,
I taste your essence.
Sweet is my essence,
your the bee, make my honey
with gentle efforts.

Your mind's sweet nectar
almost too in awe to take,
need outweighs desire.
Powerful passions
making my mind and knees weak,
eager to hear more.

Hell's den I smell
Shared pleasure surreal
Complement instead
compliments offered
I am all ears and anxious
to hear them from you.

I'll whisper to you,
sweet fantasies on night's breeze,
guided by the stars.
Take my hand, find peace
within our embrace escape,
love's safe oasis.
Tell me of your dreams,
and I will do all I can,
to fulfill each one.
The first look
that made me want you forever,
Still captured in my mind.
I swoon in love's arms,
distracting from decision,
seeking an escape.
For how can I choose,
between so many worthy
of my devotion.

Equality in
complementarity a
pot of blazing joy.
Expect no turn,
get a mutual giving of
an ocean duet.
A never ending
song then named shared
satisfaction.
Satisfaction waves
over me like an ocean
meeting your soft shores.
Worry not dearest,
tears struggles crosses
washed away.
There as well you be,
satisfied for hidden joy,
will unfold from it.
Hidden joy so sweet,
warms the cockles of my heart,
makes my aura glow.
Glow shine light,
purposefully walking a day,
no time to waste.
Waste not a minute,
limited time together,
speak sweetly to me.
I asked if I might
sit at the foot of your throne
and guard you all night.
Yes you may good sir,
put guard upon my person,
if you hold my heart.

A cup made of hands
is a dangerous chalice,
ones love could slip through.
I can't make you fall,
though shall catch you when you do,
open your heart to love.
My heart is open,
to those willing to woo it,
through many long night.

You are up so late,
and open you say you are,
better challenge so.
Challenge accepted,
you've one week to earn my love,
wooing may commence
.
Oh, just seven days
to be worthy of your love,
the joy of this thing.
The joy will be yours
by the time the week is out,
if you prove yourself.

Faithfulness is key,
for love that is meant to be,
I beseech thee thus.
Your challenge is fun,
would not like to come undone,
love me now this night.
Five of early morn,
betwixt poem and bed I'm torn,
yet you stir my heart.
The choice will be yours,
but I am off to my bed,
to dream of my loves.

Did thee fall to sleep,
love from boredom is to keep,
haiku need not rhyme.
Haiku is tough love,
real challenge for this novice,
my dreams will be yours.
Challenge for your mind
will help you to hone your skills,
I'm worth the effort
.
New day my lady,
see this upstanding member,
glorious morning.
Good morning suitor,
this day brings disappointment,
for you are alone.

Alone in wooing,
I hoped a battle for me,
but none to be found
.
Alone I may be,
together we will have verse,
you demand my love.
Love is demanding,
when you feel yourself in need
of lover's caress.

Lover must caress,
stroking, smoothing, feeling lips,
bring passion alive.
Passions are aflame,
in my imagination,
waiting to hear more
.
Hot flesh brought to flame,
minds eye moist expectation,
douse me,  my sweet lady.
Eleven o'clock
all is well, fevered sleep heart
til morning,  lover.
Sleep well my darling,
mornings light will bring you back,
to woo once again
.
By candles light I scribe,
enticing your love sweet heart,
butterfly wings meet.
Upon my blushed cheek,
butterfly kisses are laid,
it tickles ... giggles
.
Play biting blush cheeks,
same flush upon your bosom,
nails trail your body.
I am aquiver,
at sensations your touch brings,
so unfamiliar.

A quiver and bow
minds me of my love challenge,
thou shalt shake lady.
Curtsy to your bow,
loving heart of this lady,
chivalry will win
.
Never mind my bow,
arrow heart points bosom ward,
lest I loose it quick.
Arrows of Cupid
often seek out my bosom,
what makes yours special?

Special is for fools,
Extraordinary am I,
Love so too is so.
I have searched so long,
extraordinary lover,
may be found in you
.
Lady you doubt me,
living love has been my life,
expert is my love.
This night slipped away,
Love's challenge yet to triumph,
In dream land this hour.
Misslady's dirty,
her mind is in the gutter,
let's give her a bath!
Make my mind squeaky,
get every nook and cranny,
leave no stone unturned.

I love to give baths;
notice I said give,not take;
my rag smacks your bum.
The sting makes me jump,
already I am welting,
kiss it all better.

I will kiss your bum,
only because it's clean now,
no dirty bum kiss.
Bum will be dirty
after reception of kiss,
dirty is your mouth
.
Dirtiest of all,
foul like a pirate captain,
gimme a kiss wench.
You call me a wench,
you'd luck better with parrot,
mindful of your tongue
.
Wench is just a word,
Is kiss me baby better?
I didn't mean it.
Like Britney Spears song,
kiss me baby one more time,
LOL all night.

Oh,no,not Britney!
She should shave her head again,
then fall off the Earth.
Alone on my perch,
I await my chance to feed
Upon sun baked flesh.
I'm the one to woo,
but you think of another,
my skin fries not bakes.

For I am porcelain,
sensitive to the sunbeams,

I stay in the shade.
Morning sun blazing
in her eyes, flames of desire
burning me to ash.
How can I love you
if you're a pile of ash?

Unless ... A PHOENIX!
Swamp man with a plan,
so who will you be today,
Voodoo enchanted.
You try enchantments,
such a risk might be needed
to win me over.

I think your magic
is growing power in me,
taking me over.
When love is the prize,
and you are risking your heart,
 widen your smile.
Lovers are welcome,
within confines of these arms,
 every day and night.
There's no need to fight,
all have a place in my heart,
you are all winners!

The Kiss

"If I give you a kiss Misslady,
you have to promise me,
you'll give it back.
Kiss me like
my lips are a forest fire,
And all your lungs need to breathe
are flames."

My soft lips
Press against his,
Arms wrap around each other,
Our eyes close.
I experience
an eruption of emotions,
feelings leaving me
wanting more.
A kiss,
so passionate and incandescent,
it will never be forgotten
by my lips.

"What an honor,
to be touched
by the secret keepers
to your soul.
When introduced to my own,
whispers of my
long untold stories
are flushing out
with each shared breath."

Putting A Pirate In His Place

What kind of girl do you think I am?
We've only just met, hmph ... men!
Dragging me off to your cabin,
With tales of another woman,
Boy do you know romance,
With me, you've not a chance,
Unless you prove yourself true,
You and me, we are through,
For you see,
I am a Lady.

Oh my dear Misslady Rainicorn,
So long I have been forlorn,
Please excuse my lack of decorum,
I've had 100 years of lonely boredom,
When I laid eyes upon you my dear,
I just had to pinch your posterior,
So round and voluptuous,
Oh so very temptatious,
It's perfection, I had to try it,
After all, I am a warm blooded pirate.

Let's get off with a good start,
A rushing hand shows a careless heart,
Our destinies are clearly entwined,
Let's take time to know each others minds,
This whole day has been so very strange,
My mind needs time to rearrange,
Your world, and mine, so different,
Everything here is so magnificent,
But it's all still such a mystery,
I know so little of your history,
There's so much I need to know,
Before together we can grow,
It might help your game,
If I at least knew your name.

If my name is what you need,
For us to grow love's seed,
I will do my best to remember it,
Over 1,000 years I've just been,
"You Dirty Pirate!"
But since you must know,
Here we go,
My name is -
Aristarchos Brabazon Astor
Caelestinus Gorlassar Ortzi
Haakon Phoibos Zeru
Renowned Majestic
Venerated Exalted One
Bringer of Gladness
Light of the Sun
Healer of the Universe-
For short you can call me Uno.

That is quite a mouthful,
I think Uno is wonderful,
Short and sweet, number one,
Just like you my honey bun,
Now I need some rest before we venture,
On our first big adventure,
In my own bed thank you,
My bum is not on tonight's menu,
Now don't read to much into this,
I will allow you a single bedtime kiss.

For Love And Cosplay

Our story began in Cosplay,
Both in search of evil to slay,
Never saw it ending this way,
Love in Cosplay, love in Cosplay.

Dressed like a cute girl from Manga,
Planting kisses all over ya,
My love is filling your aura,
Utopia, Utopia.

When you licked the back of my knee,
And said it tasted like honey,
I knew us to be destiny,
We're meant to be, we're meant to be.

Us side by side forever more,
There's many adventures in store,
From fairies to a manticore,
Forever more, forever more.

Ended the battle side by side,
To the end we remained allied,
Defending each other with pride,
Still side by side, still side by side.

Rogue Pirate Alien

My first ride upon a shooting star,
The most exhilarating thing I've done thus far,
The feeling of soaring free through space,
Can only be described as bizarre.

With impossible speed, we reached his moon base,
Gasp! You would not believe this place,
On the barren surface there's a secret door,
Allowing you within without a trace.

Everything from the ceiling to the floor,
Sparkled like the clothing that we wore,
Coated in magical dust I assume,
To be the cause of the shimmering decor.

Tucked in one corner of the room,
Sat his ancestors magical loom,
He said he would teach me how it ran,
After he explained why he lives in the moon.

He's not just a lonely moon man,
He's a rogue pirate alien,
Adventuring the Universe's Galaxies,
Commandeering as much treasure as he can.

Don't get the wrong idea please,
He just wishes a life of ease,
Where he could follow his every whim,
And sail wide the Universal seas.

By mistake, he wronged the Princess Prymm,
Now her law keepers are after him,
Luckily he'd prepared a get away,
And made it with great vigor and vim.

Now in our galaxy he must stay,
For reasons he didn't say,
Prymm's men are kept at bay,
Unable to enter the Milky Way.

Twilight of the Mermaids

I would like to tell you a story,
By the end you might be sorry,
For all the human folly,
I am a mermaid you see,
There was a time when we were many,
To sailors we were playful and friendly,
Now we are creatures of folklore,
Rarely seen anymore,
No longer do we visit the shore,
Seeking out young men to adore,
We stay hidden on the ocean floor,
We are so few, soon we will be no more,
Much like the dolphin,
We suffer from contamination,
We cannot avoid bioaccumulation,
We're dying from sickness and infection,
Which has reached all of Earth's oceans,
All caused by human pollution.

Shared Inspirations : Romance Upon A Shooting Star

I read a poem called Stardust Fabric by a writer named James Casey. It created the inspiration for my story, Moon Man. In response to Moon Man, he wrote another poem called Misslady Rainicorn. I think together we have created the beginning of what could possibly be a wonderful Sci-Fi Romance. I don't know if the story will go any further than this, but I wanted to share it together in one place.

Update 8/13/14 : Added my next installation to this story. Rogue Pirate Alien
Update 8/14/14 : James Casey added Cosmic Pirate Captain
Update 8/15/14 : I added Putting A Pirate In His Place
Update 8/16/14 : I added The Kiss
--------------------------------

I dream
Of a better day
Alone here
Up on the moon

Finding the words
To to you to say
The words of
My love hewn

I spend my time
On these plains of grey
Spinning stardust
In a magic loom

Making fabric
That never frays
Sewing clothes
For my planet platoon

Storing one garment
In my secret cache
Made special
Just for you

I promise to come home
To you some day
Riding on a shooting star
Upon the afternoon

I'll present to you
The dress I made
Of stardust fabric
From a lunar dune

In love with me
Forever you'll stay
And forever for you
My heart will croon
--------------------------------
Moon Man

I met a moon man,
somewhere between here
and dreamland.
He was the most amazing thing
I had ever seen.
He was following
the path of a moonbeam,
riding on the back of a shooting star.
He wore a sparkling suit,
made of a fabric I had never seen.
The way it's colors shifted,
with his every movement,
was hypnotically mesmerizing.
Draped around his neck,
flowing behind him,
like an aviator's scarf,
was a dress,
made of the same fabric,
and in my perfect size.
Alas, it was not for me.
He told me he made it special,
for his one true love.
With the magic contained,
within its threads,
she would be able to join him,
on his journeys through the stars.
My skin itched,
to feel this garment worn upon it,
my body ached,
to experience the thrill,
of riding a shooting star.
I asked in my sweetest tone,
"Mr. Moon Man,
where might I acquire,
this magical fabric?
I wish to style my own fashions,
I too wish to have adventures,
among the stars."
He looked down at me,
with stargazer eyes,
and a gentle smile.
"This fabric can only be made by me,
first, I gather the stardust,
that blankets the lunar dunes,
then, it has to be spun,
on my ancestors magical loom."
Slightly disheartened,
but not discouraged,
I pressed further,
"Your lover is no where to be seen,
perhaps in her absence,
I can borrow her dress,
and piggy back a ride,
on your lunar bound star."
A few moments of silent contemplation,
then he unwound the dress,
from around his person,
and presented it to me,
"My lady I would be honored."
In my excitement,
forgetting to be shy,
swapped my attire then and there.
It felt glorious against my skin,
slinking with me as I moved,
hugging my curves with perfection.
He offered me his hand,
to help me mount his starry steed,
I noticed a blush upon his cheeks.
For the first time,
I looked into his eyes,
I got lost in their deep pools,
each eye contained its own galaxy,
pulling at my consciousness,
then he blinked,
bringing me back from the abyss,
it was my turn to blush.
Without saying a word,
I hopped up behind him in a rush,
receiving a shock on my rump,
from the star for my trouble.
He reached around,
pulled me in close,
told me to hang on tight.
Still holding my hand,
securely over his heart,
our adventures began.
-------------------------------
Once I saw a Rainicorn
She flew across the sky
Her curvy rainbow body
Enchanted me in passing by

I had to meet this mystic creature
So I jumped upon my shooting star
Following her into the clouds
Into her kingdom so high and far

Finally catching up in time
I noticed she had a fiery mane
At that instant she had my heart
I knew I'd never be the same

We sat and talked of pretty things
Then she asked me about my clothes
I told her of my magical loom
And how stardust in the fabric goes

She looked at me with wanting eyes
Asking if I could make her a dress
I invited her then to ride my star
Because I had one in my lunar chest

We flew up to my home on the moon
She tried it on and it fit divine
We danced and sang among the dunes
I asked her to stay if she was so inclined

Though I am but a humble living moon man
She accepted my offer with open arms
We live happily now and forever after
Subsiding to each other's magic charms

 Cosmic Pirate Captain

I am a cosmic pirate captain
Living on the moon
I made my base deep within
To escape impending doom

I live here in my lunar home
Hiding from the Princes Prymm
She loved me but I did not her
Now I'm running from her henchmen

The moment I saw you in the sky
My Rainicorn with the fiery hair
I had to have you in my arms
To be my pirate queen if you dare

We can load my shooting star
Onto my pirate space ship
Sail the cosmos deeply in love
As I commandeer kisses from your lips

I will even bring my magic loom
To make you dresses so divine
That hug your curves and flow so well
I can't help but pinch your tight behind

Come with me my beautiful lass
We'll be the outlaws of time and space
I'll even show you my captain's chamber
In satin sheets we'll share love's embrace

Let's go on an adventure among the stars
The moon will always be our home
If we get weary of our travels
We can come back home to rest our bones

I need your answer
Please make it a yes
Be my pirate queen
My heart you possess

Dead Memories

. . . I remember . . .
a panic stricken morning,
something was wrong with the dead,
they decided they were living,
hungry for what's in our head.

. . . I forgot . . .
to barricade the door one night,
mind numb with exhaustion,
awakened to a frightening sight,
my own evisceration.

. . . I remember . . .
the bites coming from all around,
fighting against eminent demise,
flailing wildly on the ground,
trying to escape from soulless eyes.

. . . I forgot . . .
what it was like to be human,
and all that that entails,
having the love of a good man,
and enclosed entrails.

. . . I remember . . .
joining the search for brains,
a hunger never satiated,
masticating any human remains,
the worst fate ever contemplated.
